Sean P. David, MD, SM, DPhil is a family doctor and physician scientist interested in translational research to improve preventive health and public health strategies to improve population health. Active projects include meta-analyses of genomic biomarkers for smoking cessation, genomic and neuroimaging studies of addiction, and empirical evaluations of publication bias across the cognitive sciences. Complimentary projects are focused on clinical implementation science and reducing health disparities in precision medicine for minority populations, and translational science to inform tobacco control policy and, more broadly, developing recommendations, guidelines and policy frameworks to enhance population health outcomes.
