Michelle Mello

Michelle Mello, JD, PhD is Professor of Law at Stanford Law School and Professor of Health Research and Policy in the Stanford University School of Medicine. A member of the National Academy of Medicine, Dr. Mello is a leading empirical health law scholar whose work on issues at the nexus of U.S. health policy, law, and bioethics. Among her interests are ethical issues in human subjects research, policies to promote clinical trial data sharing, and mechanisms for managing relationships between pharmaceutical companies and biomedical researchers.
