Kay Dickersin

Kay Dickersin, M.A., Ph. D. is Professor of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she serves as the Director for the Center for Clinical Trials and Evidence Synthesis. She is also Director of the U.S. Cochrane Center. Kay’s main research contributions have been in the area of scientific integrity, reporting biases, trials registration, clinical trials, systematic reviews and meta-analysis. Kay’s research has involved comparing internal company documents to the published record, where she and her colleagues have found differing results. She is currently engaged in examining practical issues related to demands for “open access to trial data,” when the available data may be discordant.
