Stephan Bruns

Stephan Bruns is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Environmental Sciences at Hasselt University in Belgium and a Research Associate at the Econometrics and Statistics Group at Georg-August-University Göttingen in Germany. He obtained his PhD with a scholarship from the German Research Foundation on meta-regression analysis in economics at the Max-Planck-Institute of Economics. His main research interest is meta-research in economics and environmental science, including the detection and determinants of p-hacking, publications bias and reporting errors, the development of tools to improve the reliability of empirical research, as well as replicability, meta-analysis and evidence-based policymaking.
