Neil Malhotra
Neil Malhotra is Professor of Political Economy in the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also holds a courtesy appointment in the Department of Political Science. His research interests include American politics, political behavior, public opinion, and survey methodology. In joint work with Alan Gerber of Yale University, he developed the "caliper test," a method for detecting the effects of statistical significance thresholds on published research. Recently, he has analyzed a registry of social science experiments to analyze publication bias and research transparency in the social sciences. He received his PhD in political science from Stanford University.
