Mariana Barosa

Mariana Barosa is an Internal Medicine resident in Lisbon, Portugal, and an invited Teacher Assistant of Pathophysiology at NOVA Medical School. As a clinician, she faces the challenges of making evidence-based decisions and providing valuable care for complex patients. Her interests are broad and lie at the intersection of medicine and epistemology, with a particular interest in Evidence-based Medicine, multimorbidity and complexity in medicine. Her background in philosophy of science has fostered her interest in meta-research, clinical epidemiology and evidence-based policymaking.
