Hal Pashler

Harold Pashler, Ph.D. is a Distinguished Professor of the Department of Psychology at UC San Diego. He is currently the director of the Learning, Attention and Perception Lab and a member of the Interdisciplinary Faculty in Cognitive Science. He is the author of The Psychology of Attention (1998), Editor in Chief of the Stevens Handbook of Experimental Psychology, 3rd Edition (2002), and of the Encyclopedia of the Mind (2013). He received the Troland Prize from the National Academy of Sciences (1999). His research has focused on the psychology of learning, attention, and memory, research replicability, and applications of experimental psychology.
