Evropi Theodoratou is a Reader with a joint appointment at the Usher Institute and at the Institute of Genetics and Molecular Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. She holds a Career Development Fellowship from the Cancer Research UK. She leads projects in genetic, molecular and cancer epidemiology. Her research interests include prognostic risk models for cancer and the application of novel approaches like phenome wide association analysis to explore genetic and environmental risk factors. She is interested in meta-research and in the application of new research methods in relation to empirical research and evidence-based medicine. She is the Chief Investigator of LABSS, a national prospective study for targeted colorectal disease clinical investigation.
