David Donoho, PhD is the Anne T. and Robert M. Bass Professor of Humanities and Sciences and Professor of Statistics. He is a mathematician who has made fundamental contributions to theoretical and computational statistics, as well as to signal processing and harmonic analysis. He has been a leader in proposing methods for enhancing Reproducible Research, including the development and routine application of software that can capture a transparently all analyses performed in datasets. Dr. Donoho is interested in detecting phenomena which show up in multiple test statistics as somewhat rare but weak and so are hard or impossible to detect individually.
