Athina Tatsioni

Athina Tatsioni is Associate Professor and Head in the Research Unit for General Medicine and Primary Health Care in the University of Ioannina, Greece. She is a Board-certified physician for Family Medicine /General Practice. She worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Tufts Medical Center Evidence-based Practice Center. She was an adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine (2005-2019) at Tufts University School of Medicine. She has coauthored systematic reviews and meta-analyses on a broad range of clinical and methodological issues. Her key research interests focus on issues related to the quality and applicability of clinical trials - including trials evaluating complex interventions - in primary care.
