Antonio García Romero

Antonio García Romero, PhD, is a Full-Time Professor at IE Business School in Spain. With over two decades of experience, Dr. García Romero has explored a wide range of topics, from evaluating the influence of biomedical research on hospital performance to developing indicators for assessing healthcare innovation. 

Dr. García Romero has recently focused on the disruptive potential of generative AI in healthcare. He has published his work in several reputable journals, including Research Policy, Scientometrics, Health Care Management Science, and the Journal of Healthcare Quality Research. Additionally, his studies on scientific misconduct and bibliometrics have significantly advanced the field of metascience. 

Dr. García Romero also has a background in Health Policy, having served as the former Head of Research and Innovation Policy for the Regional Government of Madrid.
