Anna-Bettina Haidich

Dr. Anna-Bettina Haidich was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1974. She graduated from the Department of Statistics, Athens University of Economics in 1996 and received her MSc degree in Medical Statistics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK in 1997. During 1998-1999, she has worked as a biostatistician at the Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research of the Harvard School of Public Health. She received her Ph.D. from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina in 2003 under the supervision of Professor John P.A. Ioannidis. Dr. Haidich has written a book in medical statistics, 2 chapters in books and published 167 papers in international journals with more than 3000 references. Her research interests include epidemiology, medical statistics, with emphasis in the methodology of safety reporting in clinical trials, meta-analyses and overviews of systematic reviews.
