Angelo Maria Pezzullo
I am a medical doctor with specific training, experience, and keen interest in observational research and evidence synthesis methods. I am a PhD student at the Public Health Department of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Rome, Italy). I have previously been a scientific officer for the Italian Institute for Planetary Health (Rome, Italy) which I helped to found, and a visiting researcher at the Department of Epidemiology of Erasmus MC (Rotterdam, the Netherlands), at the Meta-Research and Innovation Center at Stanford, at the European Public Health Association (Utrecht, the Netherlands), the latter two as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions fellow. Within METRICS, my work has been focused on the epidemiology and meta-epidemiology of COVID-19. I graduated in Medicine in 2016 at Università of Campania (Naples, Italy), in Epidemiology (MSc) in 2020 at Erasmus University Rotterdam (Rotterdam, the Netherlands), and in Public Health and Preventive Medicine (medical residency) in 2021 at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Rome, Italy).
