Alex Glynn

Alex Glynn is an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville’s Kornhauser Health Sciences Library (Louisville, KY, United States of America). His research concentrates on the challenges to research integrity posed by artificial intelligence. His ongoing project Academ-AI tracks the undeclared use of generative AI in the academic literature, so far identifying hundreds of examples. Alex’ meta-research work has been featured in Nature, Science, Le Monde, Physics World, Research Professional News, and the Chronicle of Higher Education. In addition to researching and lecturing on AI, he serves on various AI-related committees at the University of Louisville. He is also a member of the University’s biomedical Institutional Review Board.
