Sean David

Sean David, MD, DPhil is a family doctor and physician scientist interested in translational research to improve preventive health and public health strategies to improve population health. Active projects include meta-analyses of genomic biomarkers for smoking cessation and tobacco-related disease, neuroimaging research, and empirical evaluations of publication bias in cognitive sciences and setting pre-registration and pre- and post-publication reporting standards. Complimentary projects are focused on clinical implementation science for genomie medicine, closing gaps in precision medicine for minority populations, translational science to inform tobacco control policy and, more broadly, developing recommendations, guidelines and policy frameworks to enhance population health outcomes.
